코로나19는 우리 삶의 많은 걸 바꿔놓았지만, 특히 가족과 함께 산다는 게 얼마나 어려운지 실감하게 했다. 여기 속초의 한 가족도 그렇다. 부부 둘만 살려고 지은 집에 캐나다 단기 유학을 떠났다가 코로나19 때문에 급히 귀국한 두 딸이 머무르게 된 것이다. 성인 네 명이 한 집에 살게 되었는데, 집에 방이 부족한 건 큰 문제가 아니다. 이미 따로 떨어져 사는 게 익숙한 가족은 각자의 습관에 익숙해지는 게 이들을 힘들게 한다. 계획에 없었던 불편한 동거는 가족들이 서로에겐 절대 말하지 않았던 속마음마저 드러내게 하는데...
COVID-19 changed many things in our lives, especially making us realize that living with a family is more complicated than you think. The documentary follows a family in Sokcho who never planned to live together after all these years. Due to COVID-19, the two daughters had to turn back from Canada, crashing into the parents' new house with not much space for adult siblings. But, lack of space isn't a severe problem: syncing the habits that changed for years is much more difficult. The unplanned cohabitating eventually brings out candid confessions from the family members.
