5년차 짜장면 배달부 최강수는 짧은 시간 안에 사람들의 마음을 사로잡을 줄 안다. 그런 그가 새로운 일터, 팔팔수타라는 중국집에서 헬조선 탈출을 꿈꾸는 동갑내기 여자 배달부 단아를 운명처럼 만난다. 처음에는 사사건건 부딪히기 일쑤였지만, 단아는 온몸을 던져 문제를 해결해주는 강수에게 마음이 흔들리고 강수 또한 단아에게 푹 빠지기 시작했다. 그런 두 사람 앞에 새로운 위기가 찾아온다. 막대한 자금력을 앞세운 프랜차이즈 음식점 '정가'가 작은 식당들로 이루어진 상권을 장악하기 시작한 것. 강수는 단아에게 힘없는 작은 가게들을 위해, 그리고 단아에게 '희망'을 찾아주기 위해 승산 없는 무모한 싸움을 시작하려 한다.
Choi Kang-soo is a veteran delivery worker. Thanks to his good nature, he has many followers from every workplace he has been. After moving to a new Chinese restaurant, Kang-soo meets Dan-ah, a delivery worker who's goal is to save enough money for escaping 'Hell Joseon.' Although they had some issues at the beginning, Kang-soo and Dan-ah shortly fall for each other. However, the two confront a severe crisis. A large restaurant franchise is trying to absorb the whole district and threaten the livings of small self-owners. Kang-soo steps into this reckless fight, to protect his friendly neighbors and give Dan-ah what she needs most. Hope.
