어느 날 혼자가 된 열일곱 소년 우민은 부모님의 간병인이었던 수정과 한 집에 남게 되었다. 그날부터 우민의 마음에서 수정은 사랑이 된다. 언어장애인인 수정이 병을 앓고 있는 걸 안 우민은 미성년자인 자신은 지켜주고 싶은 마음이 아무리 커도 병원비를 대줄 능력도 없음을 깨닫는다. 결국 수정 몰래 일을 시작한 우민은 무용 선생님 혜경과 마주친다. 한편 수정 또한 보육원에서 함께 봉사하는 성재와 인연을 맺는데...
Woo-min, a seventeen-year-old boy, just lost his parents. Living in the house with Soo-jung, his parents' caretaker, his love for her grows. He finds out that Soo-jung has been ill, but he is minor and cannot afford to take care of her health. He starts working to make money for her, and he meets Hye-kyung, the dance teacher at his school. Meanwhile, Soo-jung gets close to Sung-jae, a pharmacist who volunteers at a nursery school with her.
