오랜 외국 생활을 마치고 한국으로 돌아온 창석은 자신의 경험을 바탕으로 한 소설 발간을 앞두고 있다. 그는 대학 후배인 편집자 유진을 만나고, 출판 일을 도와준 사진작가 성하와 마주친다. 그날 밤 홀로 바에 들른 창석은 오늘이 마지막 근무라는 바텐더 주은을 만난다. 이들은 창석에게 자신들이 보거나 겪은 이야기를 담담하게 털어놓지만, 막상 이를 듣는 창석은 복잡한 심정을 느낀다.
Chang-seok returns to Korea after living abroad for many years and gets ready to publish his novel. One day, he meets three people. Yoo-jin went to college with him and now works as a book editor. Sung-ha is a photographer who helped him to publish his novel. Joo-eun is a bartender at a bar Chang-seok drops by. They share their experience and insight with Chang-seok, but Chang-seok feels complicated listening to their stories.
