욕심도, 취향도, 꿈도 없던 고등학생 선호는 사랑에 빠지면서 처음으로 하고 싶은 일이 생겼다. 첫사랑 강희를 따라 선호는 경찰대학교에 진학하고, 그곳에서 한 사건으로 만난 유동만 형사와 재회한다. 경찰 경력 20년, 현장에서 더 빛나는 유동만에게 선호는 2년 동안 공들인 사건을 망친 장본인이다. 경찰대 교수와 학생으로 만난 두 사람. 동만은 어떻게든 선호를 쫓아내려 하고, 선호는 끈질기게 버틴다. 하지만 동만이 현역 시절 사건을 수사하고 선호가 이를 도우면서 두 사람은 서로에게서 새로운 면을 발견한다. 선호는 강희뿐 아니라 학교에서 소중한 친구들을 만나면서 삶을 다채로운 색깔로 물들이기 시작했고, 동만은 학교에서도 가슴 뛰는 경험을 할 수 있다는 걸 깨닫는다.

However, he does not expect a familiar face from his previous misdemeanor, Yu Dong Man, to greet him as his professor. At first, he's not very pleased to see him again, but he gradually grows fond of Dong Man, the man of justice, to the point where he respects Dong Man's philanthropic and brave nature as they continue to bicker with one another. Just like that, what started as love at first sight becomes Sun Ho's life goal, a police officer.
