아내의 죽음 후 삶의 희망을 잃고 마지못해 살아가고 있는 보험회사 과장 강수는 교통사고로 혼수상태에 빠진 미소의 사건을 맡게 된다. 사고 조사를 위해 병원에 찾아간 강수는 자신이 미소라고 주장하는 한 여자를 만나지만 그 여자가 자신에게만 보이는 것을 깨닫게 되고 결국 그녀가 다른 이들에게는 보이지 않는 영혼이라는 것을 인정하게 된다. 한편 영혼이 된 미소는 강수만이 자신을 볼 수 있는 것을 알고 자신의 간절한 소원을 이룰 수 있도록 도와달라고 부탁을 한다.
Kang-soo, an insurance investigator, has lost all the hope and purpose of living after his wife died. One day, the company gives him the case of Mi-so, a girl who’s fallen into a coma from a car accident. At the hospital he goes to investigate the case, he meets a girl who claims that she is Mi-so, who in reality can’t walk or talk. Kang-soo eventually comes to accept that for some reason only he can see the spirit of Mi-so. And Mi-so asks Kang-soo to help her biggest wish come true before she has to leave this world for good.
