유린은 처음 보는 사람과 금세 친구가 될 만큼의 사교성과 누구라도 속일 수 있는 뛰어난 거짓말 솜씨를 지닌 귀여운 사기꾼이다. 공찬은 로열 호텔을 물려받을 후계자로, 쿨하고 똑똑하며 능력 있는 인물이다. 유린은 제주도에서 누군가에게 쫓기던 중 우연히 공찬을 만나고, 공찬의 작은 사기극에 동참해 그의 사촌 여동생이 되어 준다. 거짓말을 밥 먹듯 해도 미워할 수 없는 여자와 너무나 오만해도 거부할 수 없는 남자. 둘은 한 집에서 함께 살고 점차 사랑에 빠지면서 다투고 괴로워한다.
