100년 전, 상해 임시정부는 1920년을 독립전쟁 원년으로 선포했다. 이는 6월 중국 지린성 봉오동, 10월 청산리에서 독립군이 일본군을 무찌른 두 전투의 영향이 컸다. 독립전쟁 100주년을 맞아 제작된 다큐멘터리 <봉오동 청산리 승전 100년 민족영웅 홍범도>는 봉오동 전투를 승리로 이끌고 독립군 통합에 앞장선 홍범도 장군의 지도력과 전술을 분석한다. 또한 1922년 모스크바 극동 민족대회에 참석한 홍범도 장군의 생전 영상을 발굴, 사상 최초로 공개한다.
A hundred years ago, the Provisional Government in Shanghai declared the year 1920 as the Independent War's first year. The declaration stems from the great victories, one of the battles at Bongodong, and another at Chungsanri. For commemorating the 100th year, the documentary focuses on General Hong Bum-do, the fearless military leader who led the Independent Army to defeat the Japanese soldiers. Mainly, it will reveal the video footage of General Hong, recorded in Moscow 1922, for the first time in Korean broadcasting history.
