2005년부터 오늘날 가장 뜨거운 이슈, 앞으로 인류에게 가장 중요하게 닥칠 문제를 찾고 그 해결 방법을 고민해 온 '명견만리'. 2년 만에 돌아온 네 번째 시즌은 '새로운 사회를 여는 대전환'을 주제로 삼았다. 시청자가 제안한 3천 여 개의 질문 가운데 100개를 뽑고, 각 분야의 전문가와 석학들이 이에 대한 답을 찾아 나선다. 주제에 관련한 다양하면서도 일상적인 관점과 정보를 제공하는 셀럽 패널도 참여한다.
