Ki Yang, a young girl from Goryeo, swore revenge for her mother and changed her name to Seungnyang. She gets to know two men that change her life completely: Wang Yoo, a prince of Goryeo, and Tahwan, the Crown Prince of Yuan Dynasty. After experiencing several life or death experiences, Seungnyang enters the Yuan court as a court lady. As she makes allies, stands up against the enemies, and gains power, she finally becomes the Empress of Tahwan, Emperor Huizong.
