당삼은 어릴 적 어머니를 잃고 아버지와 서로 의지하며 살아왔다. 그는 어머니를 늘 그리워했지만 아버지는 좀처럼 말해주지 않았다. 어릴 적부터 영리하고 재능을 보인 당삼은 혼사가 되길 꿈꾼다. 아버지는 당삼에게 최고의 혼사가 되면 어머니에 대해 모든 걸 알려주겠다고 약속한다. 당삼은 훈련을 위해 낙정 학원에 입학해 옥소강의 지도를 받게 된다. 또한 첫날 만난 소녀 소무와 의남매를 맺고 서로 의지한다. 더 깊은 배움을 위해 옥소강은 당삼과 소문을 사란객 학원에 데려가고, 두 소년 소녀는 다른 친구들 5명과 함께 최고의 혼사가 되기 위해 훈련에 매진한다.
Tang San lost his mother since young and has been living with his father. He always misses her mother, but his father seldom told about his wife. Tang san showed off his wit and talent at a young age and dreamed of being a soul master. His father promises to tell him about his mother when he becomes a grand soul master. Tang San enters Nuo Ding Academy and is taught by Master Yu, and becomes friends with Xiao Wu. After a while, Yu bring Tang San and Xiao Wu to Shrek Academy for intensive training. The two meet five other pupils, and they study and train together to become the soul masters.
