매일 수만 명의 여객들과 수백 대의 항공기가 드나드는 인천 국제공항. 이 작은 '에어시티'에서 일하고 사랑하는 사람들의 이야기. 국정원 요원 지성은 현재 인천공항에서 근무하면서, 공항 운영본부의 한도경 실장과 여러 주요 사건을 해결해 왔다. 처음엔 의견 충돌로 갈등했지만, 시간이 지나며 두 사람 사이엔 예상치 못한 감정이 싹튼다. 하지만 서로의 마음이 통했다고 생각했을 때 도경은 공항병원의 새 의사가 지성의 전 여자친구인 명우라는 걸 알게 되고 사랑과 우정 사이에서 갈등한다.
Aircity is the first drama series based on the Incheon International Airport, Korea's largest international airport, where thousands of passengers and hundreds of airplanes come and go. Employees from dozens of public corporations and national agencies also work here, making the airport a small city on the island. The show depicts episodes at the airport, following the personnel working in the air and on the ground.
