DIMF 뮤지컬스타'는 대구국제뮤지컬페스티벌이 주최하는 청소년 뮤지컬 경연대회로, 2015년부터 지금까지 차세대 뮤지컬 스타들을 발굴하고 실력을 키우는 기회를 제공한 국내 대표 뮤지컬 경연 대회다. 올해는 국내외 800개 팀이 지원해 뜨거운 경쟁을 예고했으며, 남경주, 김소현 등 국내 최고의 뮤지컬 배우들이 심사 위원에 참여했다. 방송에는 참가자들의 연습과 경연을 거치며 성장하는 전 과정과 다양한 이야기를 풍성하게 담아, 치열한 경쟁에 재미를 더한다.
2020 DIMF Musical Star is a youth musical performer competition held by Daegu International Musical Festival. Since 2015, the contest discovers the diamonds in the rough and gives aspiring actors chances to shine. This year, over 800 contestants applied, and the top actors from stages will be the judges and mentors for them. The show will show the fierce competition and the rich backstories from each step of the contest.
