2007년부터 시작된 지지옥션배 신사 vs 숙녀 연승 대항전의 16번째 대회가 개최된다. 아마추어와 프로 리그로 나뉘며, 프로 리그는 남성 시니어 선수(40대 이상)와 여성 선수가, 아마추어 리그는 유망주들이 팀을 구성한다. 승자연전 방식으로 진행해 한쪽 팀 선수 모두가 탈락할 때까지 대국을 진행한다. 과연 올해 최종 우승의 영광은 어느 팀에게 돌아갈까?
The 16th Gigi Auction Men vs. Women Competition is going to be held. In the professional league, the men's team(male players over 40s) and women's team have a series of games, while in the amateur league, two teams of rookie players compete.
