사랑하는 사람에서 아는 사람으로, 아는 사람에서 모르는 사람이 되기까지의 현실적인 이별 이야기. 준호와 아영은 대학 시절부터 친한 친구였고, 지금은 함께 살고 있는 연인이다. 두 사람 모두 미술을 전공했지만 지금 준호는 공무원 시험을 준비하고, 아영은 공인중개 사 일을 하며 준호의 뒷바라지를 하고 있다. 아영은 자신의 상황에서 최선을 다하고 있지만, 준호가 시험 준비를 핑계로 시간을 낭비하고 있다고 생각한다. 이제 준호에게 이용당하고 있다고 느낀 아영은 이별을 선언한다. 하지만 두 사람 모두 생각보다 이별을 받아들이는 데 더 오랜 시간이 걸린다.
Joon-ho and A-yeong have been best friends since college and are now a couple living together. A-yeong is making the best of her situation, but she feels his boyfriend Joon-ho is wasting his life with the excuse of preparing for an exam. Feeling taken advantage of, A-yeong declares the end of their relationship, but the "breakup" takes much longer to settle in than both of them thought it would.
