노틱웨이브는 소음공해를 처리하는 시설이다. 어느 날, 이곳 직원인 오 과장이 지역 주민과 보상금을 합의하는 중에 스스로 목숨을 끊는다. 노틱웨이브 는 후임으로 태승을 파견하고, 태승은 실적을 올리기 위해 합의에 열을 올린다. 하지만 공장장과 농장주가 그의 업무를 교묘히 방해하며 수상한 태도를 보이자, 태승은 이들이 숨기는 무엇인가 있을 것이라 짐작한다. 이에 태승은 본격적으로 오 과장의 자살 사건을 조사하기 시작하지만, 진실을 쫓을수록 사건은 미궁에 빠진다.
Nortic Wave is a fictional facility that handles noise pollution. One day, Mr. Oh, one of the employees, killed himself while handling the compensation negotiation with the locals. Tae-seung succeeds Oh's work, and he tries to do his best to make the big deal. However, as the factory manager and ranch owners keep stalling his work, Tae-seung suspects they might hide something. So he starts digging the truth behind Oh's death, which leads to a spiral of mystery.
