주은과 태훈 부부는 딸 희수를 교통사고로 잃은 후 하루하루 상실감에 허덕이며 살고 있다. 아이를 떠나보내고 슬픔에 몸과 마음이 망가져가는 주은을 위해, 태훈은 프로그램 개발자인 친구 준범의 권유로 딸 희수를 VR로 복원한다. 가상 공간에서나마 딸을 만나며 가족은 다시금 행복을 느낀다. 하지만 주은이 AI 희수에 집착하면서 부부의 사이에는 균열이 일어나고, 사태는 파국으로 치닫는다.
Ju-eun and Tae-hoon just lost their six-year-old daughter Hee-soo to an automobile accident. Devastated by the loss, Ju-eun gets wrecked, hard to maintain her daily routine. That's why Tae-hoon accepts his friend Jun-beom's proposal - to revive Hee-soo as artificial intelligence in the virtual reality world. Meeting the digital version of their daughter seems to give the family a moment of happiness. However, as Ju-eun gets obsessed with the AI Hee-soo, the couple's relationship gradually falls out.
